Well....we just returned from our two night stay at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio! We wanted to get away and do something before the summer passed us by. Natalie's been easy, so we figured it was worth a shot to stay somewhere for a few nights! We picked this place, not just because it's amazingly nice and relaxing, but because of one thing... a waterpark on site! How perfect is that? You can only imagine how Nico's face lit up when he saw what he was in for.
The resort was beautiful with a golf course, 7 restaurants, and amenities galore.

Eeeeeek! No words for this cuteness. (I couldn't wait to see Natalie in this swimsuit, even though I knew we weren't going to put her in the pool!)
The kid section had Nico's heart for a majority of the time. We laid back in our pool chairs and watched him go down the slides, maneuver through the waterfall, splash through the fountains, and play with other kids.
We spent both days bouncing in between the kid section, the larger general pool, the lazy river, and a couple inner tube slide rides!
We got so darn lucky with the weather. I was worried about having Natalie out in the heat and figured that we would need to give her breaks inside throughout the day, but the 100 degree temperatures disappeared! We had a "cold front" in the lower 80's during our two days there. There was only a brief period of rain each day. It was great to be able to keep Natalie outside with us the whole time and not worry! She spent a majority of her time sleeping in the poolside breeze. She is just as easy as can be!
Yawn... I'll take another milk, please.
We ate lunch by the pool both days (along with snacks in the room) and had sit down dinners at night. We went to a sports bar, High Velocity, for the first night and watched the Olympics.
