Nico is always so excited for his Papa and Grandma to come down to visit! We went to Trudy's for a quick bite on Friday night.
Our entertainment after dinner was watching Nico dive bomb onto their air mattress and a family game of hoops.
In usual fashion, he helped with breakfast and coffee making both days.
And he made sure that they didn't skip out on their walks with Sadie. He has just started learning to ride his bike without the training wheels and was so proud to show them.
Our big highlight of the weekend was the beginning of Little Rookies, a free Dallas Stars sponsored hockey clinic that is offered four Saturdays of this month.
He learned all sorts of skating and hockey drills and was worn out in the 30 min timeframe! He definitely shows resilience and doesn't stay down on that ice for long though. He did great following along with the instructor. I'm so proud of him. He had us smiling the whole time.
We were all cracking up at one point, because when it was time for them to pass out hockey sticks to the group, he told the instructor that he brought his own and promptly skated over to us to get it.
We went out to Rebel Pizza Bar afterwards before heading home to celebrate the birthday boy again with cake and ice cream. Another fun little weekend!
