It was really memorable to have Nico participate this year. He got really excited when he woke up from his nap and saw the big tree downstairs. We opted for cheap Walmart bulbs this year as a trial, rather than our nice ornaments that would break my heart if damaged from the frequently thrown objects and wild play around our home!
He was so proud to put ornaments on the tree. It was one of the cutest things!

How cool is this advent calendar? This was a tradition that I always looked forward to, so we will see how Nico does this year and if he can be patient enough to just open 1 every day!
