Austin Trail of Lights at Zilker Park

The Trail of Lights is a big Austin event that really signifies that Christmas is right around the corner! While it was freezing cold the night we went, we really enjoyed walking around the park and checking out the light displays. There were food trucks set up, various areas for photo ops, some fun vendors, and Santa was there. Nico loved this, and it's something the rest of us really enjoyed too!

He now insists on pushing his own stroller.

Here's the entrance! We were the first ones in line because of VIP passes that my parents bought, which allowed us to enter the park 45 min before the big crowds. I could get used to this VIP thing. Ha!

 I liked the blue lights best. So pretty.

 Nico was excited to see Mickey Mouse there a few times.

 The little guy was fearful of Santa, so we settled for a group pic this year.

This was such a fun night! I can see us making this a tradition and going every year!
