Today you melted my heart more than I can remember you doing in a very long time, if ever. Today you purposefully kissed me for the first time.
We have been trying to teach you to kiss for a little while now, and you have it down with kissing the last page of your favorite doggie book. But today, I was lying on the floor and you came walking up to me with the sh*tiest grin on your face. I actually was in defense mode waiting for you to playfully hit me in the face or throw something at me.
But instead, you came down towards my face and put your lips up to my cheek. You kept doing it a handful of times and my cheek was covered by your sweet little slobber. One of the best feelings I have ever had! Thank you for these moments.
