Christmas weekend with the Elson's

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day hanging out at my parents' house again this year! I have to admit, it seemed a little extra quiet around the house not having Ryan there. (Him and Jessica are coming down later this week to join in on the fun though.)

We continued with our usual on Christmas Eve routine-  munchies and game playing!

Nico watched Christmas movies and brought over his skates and hockey gear to show off his new skills.

Later that night, we made sure to leave cookies out for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

There is no other morning like Christmas morning, especially with a 4 year old. Can we bottle up these moments to relive them more often?

Santa gave Nico plenty of superhero toys along with a brand new bike! He was pumped and kept referring to it as a big boy bike since the training wheels would be coming off eventually.

After the excitement of Santa's gifts and riding laps around the house wore off, we headed over to my parents house for continued spoiling and Grandpa's famous French toast.

We had a nice little Christmas just playing with toys and relaxing!
