Happy Valentine's Day! We spent ours at Freescale, having a spaghetti dinner to honor the marathon this weekend. Everyone is always so welcoming there. It's always nice to see my dad in his work element and to see people realizing that this is the "famous Nico" that they often see a picture of in my dad's quarterly presentations.
Since it was my turn to plan Valentine's day, we postponed ours to the following weekend when my parents could babysit. I pulled out the big guns this year to impress David. I took him on a surprise trip to Bell Springs winery, followed by a scenic drive up through Bee Cave and Lakeway, to Four Plates. We had dinner reservations at a fancy Italian restaurant, Siena, where he was stressed over what to order, because it all looked amazing. I'm claiming this as success!
