Horse races- a special tradition

At the end of May, every year for the past 13 years, David and his family try to go to the horse track in honor of David's papa, Arnold. Arnold was always so fond of going, and David has a lot of memories surrounding this event. Arnold used to refer to himself as Arnie Nguyen (prounced no win) because he would NEVER win! It was apparently the family joke on how bad his bets were.

I felt special going to this event today for the first time and felt closer to a man that I never had the privilege to meet. He is still very much living today through many of their memories and stories, as well as being Nico's middle name!

We all had a really good time! I will definitely look forward to going again next year!
