This Mother's Day was definitely my best yet because my sweet Nico told me "Happy Mumma Day" for the first of many years to come. I sure do love this little guy. I feel privileged to have the title of Nico's mom. Best. job. ever.
Here are Nico's gifts to me that he made at Misty's!...
David then took Nico over to Dave and Cindy's, and we went out to eat for dinner at Mia's. (It's so hard to pick another place when Mia's is just 30 min down the highway.) We landed at a nearby bar, Dodie's, to grab a drink afterwards, and free hockey tickets landed in our laps for the Game 7 minor league game nextdoor. In the spirit of being a team player and knowing how much David loves hockey, I said why not!?! It ended up being surprisingly fun, as the home team came back with only a few min remaining to sent the game into OT. It was a top 10 sports event for me because of the last minute excitement!
I woke up to find my spoiled chiweenie sleeping like a human. Had to share this one...
We then went to my absolute favorite breakfast place, Café Brazil, for snickerdoodle coffee and reeses/banana pancakes. (Keep your judgement to a minimum. They are de-licious!)
We spent the rest of Sunday at Dave and Cindy's to celebrate her Mother's Day too. We hung out by the pool, watched the Rangers, and had a crab boil!
And a happy Mother's Day to you too, Mom! Still trying to be half as good of a mom to Nico as you were to Ryan and I.
