He was recognized a few times throughout the year for being a leader, a good friend, and for good work.
They performed a Thanksgiving program for us all. I love his shitty little grin when he sees us in the crowd.
He made some friends in his class and his main two BFFs were Cooper and Jake. He blushes when you speak of girls being cute.
He dresses like a jock, and we gave up on buying him many clothes that aren't athletic. Wearing tights was a big thing this year.
Recognizing 100 days of school. Of course, he found a way to incorporate baseball!
I was a guest at Career Day and spoke to all of the kindergarten classes about all of the fun that you can have being a physical therapist! I brought some fun little tools and called up several kids for different patient examples. I found this cute little Rangers pitcher on the front row who injured his arm.
Selfie with Jake. We allowed him to take his ipad onto the bus, and it's also used some times in class.
David brought him lunch throughout the year, and you could tell that he was always so proud to have Natalie there. He mentioned that his friends and classmates would talk about how cute she is.
I couldn't help but get teary eyed at the Mother's Day event, where they recited the "Love you Always" book and made us some special artwork.
Field Day!!! I still have such fond memories of my own elementary school field days. Nico was fun to watch in the 6-8 activities that they rotated through.
While most of the kids kicked the ball to the grouping of kids in shallow CF (just outside of the pitcture), he hit a homerun far into left field. Classic.
2nd place in every race. Just couldn't catch up to Cooper, ha!
I love the work he brings home. This family portrait is one of my favorites. Love that he thought to make us to scale with our heights.
Nico ranked above average in all academic categories, and I was especially proud of him meeting his reading goal. It's hard to get him to sit still, and reading isn't something he enjoys.
They had a Hawaiian themed end of school class party! A few crafts, snacks, snowcones, and class awards.
Last day of school pic. What a difference a school year makes. His longer locks are growing on me.
We upgraded his water guns plus some water balloons for a fun last day of school gift. Bring on the summer!!
