Nico's 1st basketball season!

Nico and the Spurs were so fun to watch this season! They went undefeated (6-0) in their league of a handful of teams through Neighborhood Sports in Oak Hill and then went on to win the championship game. A majority of the team consisted of his baseball buds.

Nico learned to dribble the ball down the court, made a basket or two in most of his games, and was even on fire in one game to get 12 points! We were cracking up at some of the far shots just behind the free throw line that he was sinking in that game. His team started to run a pick play for the last couple games that just drove the other teams nuts, as if we weren't overpowering enough.

He had a great introductory season to basketball and learned a lot. For not playing, watching, or really practicing basketball much, he looked like he knew what he was doing most of the time!

  

 

He had a good fan base for every game with the #1 fan being his sister. She stayed contained as long as she had plenty of snacks and some of the other young siblings around!
