Hook 'em baseball

It was a nice night to take in a baseball game, and it was a special one for David to watch his former college coach, James Vilade! He is now one of the assistants with Oklahoma State, so we got the hook up with tickets, and he gave Nico a fresh Big 12 ball.

Nico was shy but still made sure to ask Coach Vilade if his daddy was any good at baseball.

Natalie may have had the best time of any of us. Whenever the Horns did something exciting, she gave our section fist bumps. She was full of smiles and energy!

Double trouble

They love each other so much and can be so hilarious together. He calls her sweet names and can be so giving and gentle. She adores him and will copy his every move.

I have said it often before, but I had no idea that my kids could still be so close despite being 5 years apart. I am so happy to be their mom.

Spring Break: Great Wolf Lodge

We had an absolute blast at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine! Dave and Cindy met us for part of the trip too.

Nico ran wild inside and outside and loved the slides. We divided and conquered with the kids, and I hung with him a lot of the time! I was his buddy for most of the tubing rides, and one of them was definitely scary even for me. I'm not sure how our tube didn't flip. Natalie liked to stay in the calmer areas with little fountains where she could walk.

We ate at the restaurant on the grounds for dinner, and the overnight stay went well! We were able to play for a few more hours the next morning.

After our little trip there, we went over to Ryan and Jessica's to spend some time with them and baby Jordan!
