Saaaaaanta!

Santa came, and Santa may have definitely gone overboard again this year.

The best part about Christmas morning 2017 that I hope to always remember was watching Nico's genuine excitement to help unwrap and show Natalie her gifts. Best big brother ever. How did I get so lucky to be able to be their mom?

 

  

  

 

 

And the award for the best reaction and most excited gift opening moment goes to......

 

 

 

 

Nico opening his Nintendo DS (handheld video game console) was priceless. Way to go, Santa.

 

Natalie is very much into Minnie Mouse, dolls, and balls. (David literally listed her interests as "dolls and balls" when filling out paperwork for her preschool. Sounds classy.)

Nico is mostly into sports and electronics. Besides the obvious winning reaction to his Nintendo DS, he was pretty pumped about those compression tights. (Apparently it's the new cool thing to wear those under your shorts?!)

 

I couldn't get over this mess and had to take a picture.

 

 

(Looking at this actually makes me feel really guilty about those less fortunate out there....)
