4th of July

We had a pretty typical Texas 4th of July, complete with a neighborhood cookout, water fun, and fireworks! We went to some baseball friend's in Belterra for a get together. Nico had a handful of buddies there, and they spent a majority of the time sliding down the longest slip n slide we had ever seen!

 

We moved the party out front toward the end for the kids to play some basketball and other games in the cul de sac. David stayed back with Natalie since it was just too hot to have her outside for an extended amount of time today. (It was a miserable 100 degree day!)

 

As it became dark, Nico and I headed back home to continue our tradition of fireworks and sparklers on our street with a few of our neighbors.

 

 

Our neighbor bought a remote controlled fireworks detonator that upped our group's fireworks game for sure! It was a fun night, and we all stayed safe!
