My parents rented an amazing house on Seagrove Beach that we stayed in for 7 nights! The group consisted of our little family of 3, my parents, my grandparents, Uncle Neil and fam, and Ryan and his girlfriend, Jessica! It couldn't have been a better week!
There was plenty of beach time......
I didn't get any pictures of Nico building sand castles, because he enjoyed tearing them down more than anything! He mainly enjoyed chasing the birds, looking for crabs, and putting his feet in the water. Since this was his first time on a beach, he was soooo cautious about the tide and would only put his foot in the water if we were holding his hand. It was so cute.

The BEST pool moment by far was when Grandma Aud spontaneously did a cannon ball into the pool with her clothes on! Haha!
Grandpa just smiled and shook his head. Pretty funny.
We ate a lot of family dinners this week, and they are were so good! Sunday was Mother's Day, so the guys got all of us moms a bouquet of flowers and cooked us a nice steak dinner with twice baked potatoes.
Another one of my fav dinner nights was the crab and shrimp boil night. It was nice to have us all at one big table.

We also celebrated both Cailyn and my mom's birthdays with some cupcakes one of the nights.
Just before taking this bite, Nico told us "If I eat all of this cupcake, I get another?!"...
Besides just hanging out at the pool and beach, we did leave the house a handful of times for some other fun...
On Monday afternoon, my mom, Grandma, and I went down to Seaside to do a little shopping. We ran into Ryan, Jessica, Uncle Neil, and Alex while getting frozen yogurt, and then our group split. I went off with Ryan and Jessica for a couple beers on the beach, and the rest headed back home.
On Tuesday afternoon, a group of us went out to do a little bar hopping. We started out at 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove Beach.
We then found Johnny McTighe's in Blue Mountain Beach, and that's when things got crazy.
My mom was cracking us all up and dancing around the bar when the song request for "Strutter" was put in...
Well, Nico partied a little too hard for the first half of the week and came down with a high temp. We decided that Wednesday would be an inside day. He was extra cuddley and sweet. Thankfully, he recovered by the next morning and was back to his usual self!
The boys were out golfing that day while the rest of us had a relaxing time indoors.
There were movie nights for the kids which consisted of watching Frozen every. single. time.
Nico is in a phase of loving the monster movies, so he frequently tries to scare people with his loud "RAR." My dad took his turn at scaring the little ones...
Ryan and Jessica bought this bow & arrow for Nico. No exaggeration here, but his first shot stuck onto my grandpa's forehead. Needless to say, the rule quickly became that he could ONLY shoot the door!
Cute little Alex was crawling all over the place all week!
Grandpa's classic naptime position.
Ryan, Jessica, David, and I relived our college days and got a game of beer pong Thursday night.
And on the last full day there, Grandpa took us all out for lunch at Acme Ice House in Seacrest Beach!
Despite the many photos already throughout the week, we really wanted a nice group shot. We had a photo session with my camera's self timer on Friday. I'd say they turned out pretty good!
Saturday morning came, and it was sad to say goodbye to family that we won't see for some time (and this laid back beach life!), but hopefully we can all get together again soon! I'm so thankful to have had this fun week of family memories!
