It's been hard being away from him for more than 4-5 hours! I couldn't help but wonder if he would miss me. I was a little sad knowing that someone else was feeding him, holding him, and getting him to smile.
I do have it pretty easy though. My mom watched him a lot of days these past few weeks and will start with her usual 2 day/week routine soon. She even came up to our house and pulled some long "work" hours so that I could come home during lunch to see Nico. Thanks Mom.

The biggest, most exciting highlight of the week is that he slept 7 HOURS for 3 nights in a row!! On the night that he turned 10 weeks (my lucky #) he shocked us both by sleeping 8 to 3. Hopefully this pattern can continue! He is a lot more smiley and responds consistently with cooing and smiles when we interact with him. It's so darn cute. Yesterday, for the first time, I kept making faces at him and stuck out my tongue a lot. He immediately started sticking his tongue out too. Pretty cool to see him respond in that way. I can't imagine how much our hearts will melt when he can actually talk! He seems so grown up already at times. Time goes by fast.
He had his 2 month checkup on Monday. He weighed an ounce short of 13 lbs and was 2 ft long, which put him in the 70s in percentiles! Dr. Menchaca was impressed with his head control and thought everything was looking great. Nico didn't enjoy this appt too much since he received a ton of vaccines, including 3 shots into his thighs. He screamed louder than I've ever heard and his face turned bright red. I couldn't help but get teary eyed as I watched. Poor guy.
We had a big day in sports yesterday with the TX/OU game and Rangers playoffs. We made sure that we stressed to Nico how important it is in this family to get psyched for these events and wear the correct apparel...
The morning started off cheering on the Horns...
After Nico spit up all over his Longhorns outfit in disgust by the near 50 point loss, it was time to get his game face on for the Rangers...
Alright, we gotta include a few pics of our other 2 children. They are feeling neglected...
We received a really nice gift from Tim and Patty Ann this weekend. It will fit perfectly above Nico's crib. Check this out...
The bat serves as a shelf to set something on. Such a creative idea!
Everything is great in the Biagini home! Life couldn't be much better.
